Meet our DRE Team
Kathryn Rutherford has been working with Developers and all types of subdivisions since 1980. She received her training at California Land Title Company, and was there three years before joining the Law Firm of Robert Smylie & Associates in Century City. After four years Kathryn became senior paralegal in the Real Estate Department. In 1993, Kathryn went to school for Paralegal Studies and obtained her Paralegal Associate Degree in 1994. After 14 years with Mr. Smylie, Kathryn joined the Orange Coast Title Family of Companies in 1998. Kathryn's knowledge of common interest and standard subdivisions and her impeccable work ethic have earned her an exemplary reputation with her clients and the Department of Real Estate.
Donna Lawler started working in the Title Industry in 1973 at First American Title. Her background in Subdivision Title and Escrow provides a strong foundation for understanding the Developer's needs. In 1980 she started her DRE Training. In 1981 Donna went to Continental Land Title where she headed up the DRE Department for 10 years. She has experience working on all types of projects ranging from vacant lot subdivisions to setting up Master Planned Communities. Her organizational skills and excellent working relationship with the Department of Real Estate is an asset to the Developer client.
Rick Jacobsen has been with Orange Coast Title since 1986 and from 1989 has been working in the Builder Services/Commercial Division, involved in many aspects of the subdivision process. The past four years he has been involved with filing both standard and common interest files with the Department of Real Estate. He is a member and former director of the Home Builders Council and member of the Building Industry Association. |
